A casual beachfront restaurant and bar with 250 seats, Wahooz on the Durban Promenade serves up a wide selection of refreshing beverages and mouth-watering platters to enjoy. Wahooz offers views of the Indian Ocean with a more laid-back atmosphere. The major target market is the 25 to 40 year old age range, and live music on the weekends and during holidays always draws an audience. Wahooz provides fast food and beverages for the Water Park in addition to serving the promenade. Although having an oceanfront location is amazing, there are drawbacks as well. The continual deterioration brought on by the sun, wind, and salt air need ongoing attention. Wahooz is very reliant on the weather because few people brave the rain to visit the beach (The IIE, 2022).
